A lot of music legends have been leaving us lately. First Romanthony, now Ray Manzarek of The Doors.
Many of you who follow this blog know of The Doors because of “Breakn’ A Sweat”, their song with Skrillex for the Re:Generation musical documentary. Sonny himself has always been a big fan of The Doors, and I can imagine this news must be heartbreaking for him. For those of you who don’t know much about Mr. Manzarek himself: Ray Manzarek was the keyboardist and the founding member of The Doors. He founded The Doors after meeting Jim Morrison in California. He passed away Monday, May 20th, the cause being bile duct cancer.
So please take a moment to remember this amazing legend who has done so much for us, and for the music industry. Together, we can keep his memory alive by celebrating all that he gave to us through his music. If you’re not familiar with The Doors’ music, I suggest you look into it.
